E-Exit Point- International Primary Wing

Unit-3: Look–Hear –Listen!

The E-Exit point brought forth glimpses of sheer exuberance as students celebrated the accomplishment of yet another fruitful learning journey through the unit of work- ‘Light and Sound.’ Students of classes 1 and 2 presented a unique puppet-show which enumerated the story of a little boy who discovers how everything around us has sound. A musical saga was put together by the little ones using rhythm and sounds from real objects and self-created instruments that left the viewers mesmerized. Students of class 3 and 4 presented the splendour of light and how we are surrounded by beautiful rainbows, only if we care to see them. Through a feet–tapping song and dance performance, they urged the audience to indulge in true celebration of what’s beautiful in life. A vivid sound and light travelogue was compiled and presented by the students of class 5, revealing interesting facts about famous monuments, brought alive by special sound-effects and narratives. Children also discussed the world-wide problems of Noise and light pollution and how we can contribute towards solving them.

As always, IPC is about building upon children’s understanding and leading them to apply what is learnt to everyday life, in a nut-shell, the E-Exit point exhibited the synergy of what true learning is about. Cheers to Learning- the IPC way!
