When the founder Chairman, Hon’ble Dr. V.K. Bhatnagar pioneered Manav Sthali School in 1957, his concepts extended beyond the realms of routine academics. His ideologies deeply rooted in our Indian culture and values, combined with an eye to scientific and technology driven future, his educational philosophy is to serve our nation with holistic quality education.

This noble, dynamic, enigmatic personality had a vision—a desire to churn out self reliant, virtuous citizens—all set to conquer the universe. The vision is now a reality as Manav Sthali Organisation today stands tall and proud under the guidance of the exemplar of courage and humanity.

Dr. V.K. Bhatnagar, A great visionary and philosopher with an untiring zeal to create new vistas in the field of education, is and has been enriching the youth for a glorious future enabling them to adapt to the real world while walking alone on the frails of life. He has been immensely successful in churning students with strong character, high moral values, deep rooted respect for indian traditions with logical, scientific, creative and progressive outlook.

Dr. V.K. Bhatnagar has contributed immensely towards growth and development of the community not only through the tool of education with his longstanding unstinted dedication and fervor but also through various social contributions: financial and in-kind, for the underprivileged.

For his contributions in the field of education and towards the uplift-meant of underprivileged, he has been conferred with the Rashtriya Samman Award for best educationist of the year 1993 by the National Press of India.

Today, our institution is surging ahead as one of the leading educational establishments of Delhi. A school that has carved an eminent niche for itself under the valuable guidance of our founder chairman Hon’ble Dr. V.K. Bhatnagar. Manav Sthali has come a long way from the 50’s to the present age we have multiplied many fold in our strength and are now stationed at prominent posts all over the globe. Our Director and Founder Principal brought about this revolution because of which Manav Sthali name sparkles with a sense of pride.

A down to earth person of great virtues, sensitive towards social issues and an ardent lover of nature, has been honoured for her contribution in the arena of school education , by numerous citations and awards.

Manav Sthali Organisation, under the sagacious guidance and motivation of our Respected Director and founder Principal Mrs. Mamta V. Bhatnagar has lived up to its motto—‘To strive, to seek, to find and never to Yield.’

Her sincere initiatives have brought out that supreme talent which gives human beings their exalted status in the world. Under her able leadership Manav Sthali has escalated sky high in all spheres of life. The students have been carefully crafted by the unmatched caliber, dedication and diligence of this woman of substance. Her optimistic and enthusiastic outlook for the school affairs and school activities has given the required exposure and a wonderful platform to all her children to exhibit their talent and confidently conquer the world.

Mrs. Mamta V Bhatnagar, an emissary of peace and friendship, initiated new ties with the outside world to strengthen cultural exchange and keep children’s abreast with the traditions of other countries. Mrs. Bhatnagar introduced India to “Children’s International Summer Villages” (CISV) and “International School to School Exchange” (ISSE). Delegation of these clubs since 1978 have been visiting various countries like USA, Norway, Mexico, Brazil, Denmark, Japan, New Zealand, Sweden to name a few. These cross-cultural exchanges have spread the fragrance of our values and culture around the globe while learning about the same.
Mrs. Mamta V Bhatnagar also truly believed and cultivated love and commitment to preserve our mother nature. She is of the belief that “Trees are not only ornaments of our planet Earth but also a support of life“.

She believes that education is the very citadel, the foundation of a prosperous and meaningful life. She has always believed that quality education aims at building up an integrated personality, simultaneous and harmonious growth of body and mind, the senses and the spirit.

Recognition of her work in the field of education:

Mrs. Mamta V Bhatnagar has been honoured for her outstanding contribution in the field of education a number of times.

She was awarded by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Sheila Dikshit on 27th April 2007 at New State Academy Senior Secondary School by the “Society for Perfection in education.”

She has also been honoured with the prestigious “Rastriya Shiksha Shiromani Award 2004”, on September 28th 2005 in the Windsor Hall, Le Meridian, New Delhi, presented by the All India Achievers Conference (AIAC), New Delhi on the occasion of the 51st National Seminar on “Individual Achievement & Nation Building” for her outstanding services and excellence in the field of education.

The REMARKABLE PRINCIPAL Award was conferred on Mrs. Mamta V Bhatnagar Honoured with the 2005 “World Human Rights Promotion Award” for the commendable work done by her in promoting human rights through education. The award was conferred to her on the occasion of the 7th World Human Rights Congress by Indian Institute of Human Rights at India International Centre.
Shiksha Rattan award was presented to her by Dr. Governor of Tamil Nadu & Assam in a seminar organized by Indian Institute of Economic Studies on 24th December 2004 at India habitat centre, lodhi road.

Mrs. Mamta Bhatnagar, Director, Manav Sthali School honoured with the World Human Rights Promotion Award 2003 for commendable work done by her in the field of Promotion of Human Rights on the occasion of 5th World Human Rights Congress organized by Indian Institute of Human Rights at India International Centre on 11th December 2003.

She was awarded “Arch of Excellence (Education) Award – 2003 (Gold Medal) in recognition of her outstanding services to society and excellence in the field of education from “All India Achievers Conference” New Delhi on the occasion of 46th National Seminar on “Individual Achievements and Nation Building” held on 29th January, 2004.

Indian Institute of Ecology and Environment, an affiliate of United Nations, conferred the Environment Millennium Award on Mrs. Mamta V Bhatnagar for taking responsibility for reducing the ever increasing problems on earth and its environment. The award was presented on the occasion of World Environment Day Function organized at the India International Centre on 5th June 2000.

International Association of Educators for World Peace (An affiliate of UN) has certified her outstanding contribution and Human Rights Millennium Award was conferred for understanding the importance of the role of Human Rights Education in the Global Context. Presented on the occasion of Global Assembly of Educators for World Peace, Environment and Human Rights held from 23rd to 29th December 2000 at India International Centre, New Delhi.

She has also been honoured with the “ABI Woman of the Year 1997″ award by the American Biographical Institute Inc.
In 1997, she received the “Twentieth Century Achievement Award” from the Board of Directors, of the American Biographical Institute, USA for career achievement and social contribution. She was also selected for permanent documentation in ‘Five Hundred Leaders of Influence’.

She was declared ‘International Extra-ordinary Merit Awardee 1996′ by World Development Parliament.

She has also been honoured with the Raja Ram Mohan Roy Teachers Award, 1985 for valuable work in education and with the State Award for Teachers, 1992 for outstanding contribution in the field of Education.

In recognition of the services rendered towards child welfare and for upholding the cause of National Integration and Communal Harmony she was awarded “Bal Sahyog Award 1990″ by the United Children’s Movement.

She has been bestowed with “Great Daughter of the Soil” title in acknowledgement of distinguished service to the people of the nation. Award conferred by the All India Conference of Intellectuals in 1990.

Ms. Dipti A. Bhatnagar, Principal, Manav Sthali School, R-Block, New Rajendra Nagar is an intelligent, lively, energetic person who enthuses great energy and enthusiasm in people around her. Her strong conviction is the strength and motivation of the Students and Staff alike.

After scoring a good Rank in Delhi University, she went on to pursue her post graduation from the University of Leeds, England. On completing her post graduation, she worked in the Advertising and Media arena for almost a decade before joining the organization with a fresh perspective to give the students a Global footing. Her International outlook and passion for innovations has brought about a distinctive change in the students’ approach towards life. Since then, it has been a process of continuous growth for her and she has contributed generously in the field of education.

She has worked zealously for the growth and betterment of the organization by taking it to a different dimension in terms of progress and efficiency, with her able supervision and dexterous handling of various activities. Desirous of bringing in innovation in the teaching learning process to meet the International Standards, Ms Dipti A. Bhatnagar has successfully initiated the International Primary Curriculum Wing at Manav Sthali School, R-Block.

She has always encouraged the children to ‘think out of the box’, be creative, spontaneous, innovative and imaginative, thus motivating them to compete in ‘Odyssey of the Mind’. Competing at the Global Level and representing India at the World Stage, with a Gold and Silver to their credit has made the Manav Sthalians take over the world with pride and confidence.

Ms. Dipti A. Bhatnagar has been awarded as Educationist of the year 2019 award by ‘Rifacimento International in August’ 2019. She has been awarded Certificate of Excellence for her outstanding achievements and high dedication in the field of education.

Under her able guidance, Manav Sthali School was awarded the ISA (International School Award) and IDS (International Dimension in Schools) Awards by the British Council, for enabling the children to have a Global Outlook and Perspective.

During the crucial pandemic years, she initiated Manav Suraksha – Manav Helpline to provide real time information on the availability of Beds in hospital, Oxygen, Plasma and all related services in Delhi to the ones in need during the 2nd wave of Covid 19. She was awarded as ‘2nd Wave Superheroes’ by NewsX for the services provided during the Second Wave of Covid 19 pandemic.
