Old Age Home
‘The Dear Departed’, a chapter in the English book of class X moved and inspired them to visit an old age home. During their visit, students became more sensitive to the problems of the elderly. They presented a quiz, a dance and a skit before them which they enjoyed and felt happy about. A little origami was taught to them for fun’s sake. Students carried small gifts for the elderly people. They came back having developed some kind of a special bond with them.
KOD Visit
As a reward for their excellent behavior, star classes from the III-VI form were taken on an excursion to Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon on 22nd November, 2014. Accompanied by their class-teachers, students had a gala time at the venue. Children got the chance to watch the show “Wizwits”, a show about brave and determined kids who save the world by overcoming evil. The show was very helpful in taking a step towards enhancing their communication skills and instilling confidence in students. Students found the characters of the show highly inspiring and educational.
After the show got over, they also took a round of the immensely beautiful Kingdom of Dreams and visited the stalls depicting different states and their culture. The grandeur of Kingdom of Dreams was highly appreciated by the students.
It was indeed a memorable trip for students and teachers alike.
