Lehar Khan “Sparkling Diva”
We are proud to share that Lehar Khan of Manav Sthali School, a student of Class IX has played lead role in the movie “JALPARI-THE DESERT MERMAID” directed by Mr. Neela Madhab Panda which got released on 31st August 2012. Jalpari won MIP KIDS JUNIOR JURY award at CANNES FILM FESTIVAL. After winning this award Jalpari received the prestigious “Audience Choice Award” in Minsk International Film Festival in Belarus. The film was nominated as a direct entry to the Oscars.
Jalpari’s original story and concept are the USP of the film. It has a social message combined with powerful performances which makes it worthy of direct entry for the academy award in Oscars.
